Hey! I know it's been long but I have to tell you this. Today was my cousin's wedding day! Oh my goodness it was sooo cool! We went to the church at 11.30 a.m., the bride arrive 20 minutes later (as usual the bride has to be late ^_~) Anyway, the cerimony began first there was the baptism memory, then they read the Bibble, then the priest askes some question and the sposes said yes ^_~, then they asked each other if they wanted their life united and the sposes exchanged the rings saying "Sara, take this ring sign of my love and my fidelity. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Gost." and the groom put the ring on the bride's finget (duh) and so the bride said "Massimo, take this ring sign of my love and my fidelity. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Gost." and then the Mass went on. No we don't have to say I do or exchange promisses (I didn't know this!! I thought our weddings were the same of the ones on TV! But I forgot they were American weddings lol!) and no the groom doesn't kiss the bride at the end and the priest doesn't say "I present you Mrs and Mr name of the groom". And till the end the sposes keep their surname or last name in fact the bride doesn't take the groom's name hehe... And I found out we don't have two merriages (one in Church and one in the city holl) but now it's only one... till some time ago it was two: first they went to the city hall (but it isn't a cerimony you went there with two or four, don't remember, bestmen/women and sign some papers) and then in Church as the big event ^_^.

Then we went to have the wedding lunch! oh my goodness we started at 2 p.m. and ended at 8.50 p.m.!! I arrived at home at 9.40!!! there were 9 appetizer, 4 first courses, two fish courses, two meat courses, cheese, strawberries with icecream and the cake. Oh the coffee of course!! A good lunch ends with coffee in Italian houses ^_~. We were around 150 people, a room only for us and two of the groom's firends sang and dressed up like some famous Italian singers lol.

Ok I think it's all for now I can't really stay awake! So good night ^_^

Will the gendarms (?) be able to catch the rose seller? (the one who keeps on running). Oh, the Olympic anthem and the Alpines take down the flag! You know that there weren't any women in the past in the Alpine body? and so in the carabinieri body (they're part of the army) because we women couldn't be enrolled in the army till 4 or 5 years ago . Now we can! Yes!!!

So? Are you watching the closing cerimony of the Olympic Games? Wow, two Italian anthems!! I think it has never happened! I mean in Athens there was an Italian on the higher step (?) of the podium (?) but the there was only that anthem and then the Greek one... What an emotion when Di Centa (girl) gave the medal to Di Centa (boy who won lol) because they're brother and sister! I hope you have the comments like we have here which explain what people are doing in the Stadium. Have you heard the traditional band of the Carabinieri? And are you watching the traditional Italian Carnival? Yep, we have that kind of parade during Carnival (today) in our cities, towns and village. We have people all dressed up and machines with characteristic masks (even if you haven't seen the real traditional ones, I mean Arlequine -Arlecchino- and the others but the meaning is that). And do you like the Italian songs they're playing during the athletes parade?

Well now I go to watch more and then maybe I will edit this if there is something to say.

P.S. Now you're seeing the traditional mask!!! That is Gianduia the traditional mask of Turin (Torino). Then there's Arlecchino, Pulcinella... Oh the air space is closed over Turin (they said that now on telly...) so no airplane over the city.

Hey I'm done with my exam even if I won't know my result till Tuesday... So now I will change skin to my Xanga... It needs it, doesn't it? I mean it's... what 2 months since I changed it? Yes I think it was last year when I changed it... So I will make a Spring skin ^_^ Did you check my new site? I will make a spring layout there soon... Nothing new really happened here... Only the Olympic games... we have 10 medals, 4 gold and 6 bronze... none silver!!!I know it's not a lot but we had three really good medals where we didn't think we could win (I'm talking about... oh I don't know in English but it the ice skating race... practically we have one racer who won all three medals 2 gold and one bronze... sorry still don't know the English name...). Tonight, after CSI - NY, I saw the female ice skating competition and I was so happy for the Japanese girl! I don't know why! I mean I should yell "go Italy" and not "go Japan" but I really don't care the nationality of a person if she/he's good... Ok stop talking now it is really time to go to bed. Night to all the west part of the world and good morning to all the east part .

Hey, today is Friday 17th... The bad luck is behind the door here in Italy... So pay attention! And my day was so full of little incidente! starting with the coffee that blew out of the moka... Anyway yesterday we won another gold medal! Yes!! Go Italy!!! It was so cool seeing all the people yelling to our skater to go and when they arrived with their hands in the sky... I almost cried! And when the first gold medal was given to our... well I don't know the English word, but if you're watching the Olympic games maybe you know... all the square (Piazza Castello) was singing our anthem ^_^ Maybe tonight, too! Oh well how's your team going? Now I go... Take care.
